Zephi Curry graduates Salutatorian from WHBC with a GPA of 3.953. Zephi was entirely homeschooled and gradutated high school at age sixteen. Zephi Gabrielle Curry, daughter of Andrew and Lorraine Curry graduated May 15, 2005 with honors from World Harvest Bible College, Columbus, Ohio. Zephi was Salutatorian with a a GPA of 3.953, receiving a degree in Evangelism and Missions. Zephi was homeschooled and graduated high school at age 16. In her high school commencement speech, Zephi said:

"Ecclesiastes 9:11 states that “the race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill; but time and chance happeneth to them all.”

I’ve been homeschooled in Rockville all of my life, officially starting first grade at age five. …How is it possible to graduate high school after never attending “school” a day in my life? How is it possible to read and write and decipher without ever having been to school? How is it possible to receive “homework” from “teachers” when I’ve never been to school? (The usual place to get homework, I’m told.) How is it possible that I’ve received high ACT scores when I’ve never been to school a day in my life? How is it possible that I’m graduating high school at sixteen years of age?…God is in charge and knows where I’m headed. I’m going to keep following Him and keep doing my best. Jesus takes care of the rest.

Ecclesiastes 7:8 says, “Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof.” Better is the end of high school, than the beginning thereof. Much better is the end of this speech than the beginning thereof! God bless you all, and God bless America."

Easy Homeschooling Companion tells, in Chapter 4, Drawing from My Diary, the methods used in homeschooling Zephi and the rest of the Curry children. This book also contains the full transcript of Zephi's high school graduation speech.
