Jeopardy Games

Jeopardy is a great way to learn new concepts and practice or review concepts that have already been introduced. Jeopardy games can be played with 2 people, 5 people or an entire classroom divided up into teams. In fact, I have played Jeopardy with an entire grade level. To reinforce math concepts, you can have the students keep score. The competition aspect is a great motivator for kids to concentrate and improve their skills. The game is multi-leveled. The 100 point questions are much easier than the 500 point questions. Jeopardy also gives you an opportunity to add new vocabulary to students knowledge.

Some of the skills that we have made Jeopardy Games for include:

Beginning Consonants
Beginning Blends
Ending Blends
Short Vowels
Word Families
Silent e
Diagraphs
Base Words
Compound Words
Homophones
Nursery Rhymes
Comprehension
Contractions

Download the Jeopardy Template to start making a custom game just for you! If you think that it is a top quality game that you would like to share with other HelpMeRead members, feel free to send it to us. We will post it on our site for other members to use.

All Jeopardy games are in PowerPoint format and require a PowerPoint Viewer. Please note - You must have Microsoft PowerPoint installed in order to be able to use the Jeopardy Template to create your own custom game. The PowerPoint Viewer will not let you create new files, only view completed files. All games are available FREE as downloads in the download area for members only. Have a membership?
